The Story of The Well

At a well in Samaria, a woman came alone, carrying shame and rejection.
She was used to being avoided, judged, and misunderstood.
But on that day, someone was waiting for her — not to condemn, but to see her, to listen, and to offer her something more than water in a jar.

That someone was Jesus.

In that simple conversation, He broke through every barrier — culture, tradition, and expectation — to show her that she mattered.
He offered her hope, healing, and a place where she no longer had to hide.
At the well, she discovered not just water, but welcome.

The Well: Family Support was named for this moment.
Like that ancient well, we are a place where anyone — from any background, in any season of life — can come and find acceptance, understanding, and help.

  • If your kids are struggling…
  • If your marriage has failed…
  • If you feel buried under the weight of life…
  • If you are battling anxiety, grief, or addiction…
  • If you fear judgment for how you look, live, or love…

Come to The Well.

We believe every person carries a story worth hearing and a life worth nurturing.
We may not share the same journey, but we understand what it means to struggle.
Here, as at that well long ago, you will be met where you are — with love, truth, and acceptance.

If you’re committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care and want to be part of a team that values empathy, integrity, and innovation, we’d love to hear from you.

What We Offer

We welcome licensed behavioral health professionals—LCSWs, LPCs, and LMSWs—who are passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and families.

For provisionally licensed clinicians, we currently do not offer licensing supervision; however, we do provide case supervision and professional support while you work with an external licensed supervisor to complete your hours.

We do offer supervision for Alcohol and Drug Counselors pursuing credentials such as the CADC or other designations through MAAP.

Licensed clinicians at The Well receive:

  • Marketing & Referral Support (featured on our website and social media)

  • Administrative Support (billing, scheduling, and insurance handled for you)

  • Paneling Assistance (credentialing and insurance enrollment support)

  • Opportunities to facilitate groups and workshops

  • Mental Health Days and Self-Care Fund ($200 annual wellness stipend)

  • Peer Consultation Groups for ongoing professional support

  • Flexible caseload options to prevent burnout

At The Well, education is a cornerstone of our mission. We provide a supportive, hands-on training environment for Bachelor’s- and Master’s-level interns who are eager to grow in the behavioral health field.

Our internship program includes weekly supervision, case consultation, and opportunities to participate in therapy sessions, groups, and community-based initiatives.

We believe in nurturing the next generation of social workers, counselors, and family professionals by offering real-world experience, mentorship, and education-based supervision that aligns with your university requirements.
